Dharmendra Pradhan Orders IIT Intervention After CBSE Re-evaluation Portal Glitches The move comes after several complaints from students and parents about repeated glitches on the CBSE portal during the post-exam re-evaluation process. Many users reported difficulties in logging in, making payments, and submitting applications due to technical errors and slow response of the system. An IIT-led team of professors and technical specialists will now review all issues reported since the launch of the revaluation services this year. The aim is to understand what is going wrong and why the system is struggling during peak usage times. Officials said the focus will be on improving the stability of the portal, server performance, and the overall IT infrastructure. Key areas such as login systems, user access, and payment gateways will also be closely examined, as these have seen the most disruption. The expert team has been asked to suggest as well as help implement solutions so that the system works smoothly in the future, especially when large numbers of students access it at the same time. The decision reflects growing concern over repeated technical issues affecting important academic processes. Students depend heavily on the CBSE portal after results are declared to apply for rechecking and verification of answer sheets, and disruptions have caused inconvenience and delays. Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has stressed that students’ interests must be given top priority. He has asked CBSE to ensure that the re-evaluation process becomes more transparent, efficient, and user-friendly going forward. The IIT team is expected to begin its review soon and submit recommendations in phases. Based on these findings, further improvements to the system are likely to be rolled out before the next examination cycle.
