Photo: BCCI Hours before their last league stage game of IPL 2026, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) signed Luvnith Sisodia as Matheesha Pathirana's replacement. Luvnith has been part of KKR and Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in the past. Pathirana has been ruled out due to a hamstring injury. Signed for Rs 18 crore in the IPL 2026 mini-auction, Pathirana arrived late to the league and finally played his first game for KKR on May 16. The right-arm pace bowler suffered another hamstring issue and walked off after only bowling 8 balls. Luvnith, who plays for Karnataka in domestic cricket, has 124 runs nine innings across 15 matches. He hasn't made his IPL debut yet.
