Director Shankar's son Arjith Shankar has officially announced his acting debut with a film called Lover Boy. The project was launched with a pooja ceremony in Chennai. The launch event was attended by the likes of AR Murugadoss, H Vinoth, and Madhan alongside Shankar. The renowned filmmakers came in to support Arjith, who earlier moved to the US with plans to study filmmaking, but later trained at the National School of Drama before deciding to step in front of the camera. Lover Boy has been officially launched with a formal pooja in Chennai. The film is directed by Ashok, who has previously worked as an associate of Atlee, and produced by Passion Studios and KVN Productions. In his debut outing, Arjith will be joined by Kirthy Shetty, who attended the launch event and stole the show with her stunning look.
