The H Vinoth directorial recorded a 135 percent rise in its India net collection compared with the previous day. As per Sacnilk, the film earned Rs 2.35 crore net in India on Day 17, taking its overall domestic net collection to Rs 188.50 crore. The Tamil version continued to lead the film's earnings, while the Hindi version also contributed to the day's total. The film's overseas performance further pushed its worldwide collection past the Rs 312 crore mark. Jana Nayagan recorded Rs 2.35 crore net in India on its third Saturday, marking a sharp 135 percent increase from the Rs 1 crore it earned on Day 16. The Saturday growth came as a boost following a relatively slower Friday. The film was screened across 2,087 shows on Day 17. The Tamil version recorded an overall occupancy of 40.74 percent. Morning shows registered 23.42 percent occupancy, while afternoon shows recorded 40.42 percent. Evening shows had 39.42 percent occupancy, and night shows witnessed the highest occupancy at 48.58 percent. The Tamil version remained the biggest contributor, earning Rs 2.20 crore net on Saturday. The Hindi version added Rs 15 lakhs, taking the film's total India net collection for the day to Rs 2.35 crore. With its latest earnings, Jana Nayagan has collected Rs 188.50 crore net in India. Its total India gross collection stands at Rs 219.71 crore. The film earned Rs 153.55 crore during its first week, while the second week contributed another Rs 31.60 crore to its domestic net total. The third week began with Rs 1.60 crore on Thursday, followed by Rs 1 crore on Friday and Rs 2.35 crore on Saturday. The film also added Rs 25 lakhs to its overseas gross collection on Day 17, taking its total overseas gross to Rs 93.15 crore. Its worldwide gross collection has now reached Rs 312.86 crore.
