Tim Cook has been the face of Apple number-series phone launch events for a very long time. However, things are going to change now as a report published by Bloomberg's Mark Gurman stated that Tim Cook will not appear in the pre-recorded Apple Event video, although he is expected to attend the screening at Apple Park as a VIP guest. This major change comes as Apple completes its transition from Cook to John Ternus as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for the Cupertino giant. Gurman wrote in his Power On newsletter that Cook will be present at the Apple Park screening with members of the press and other invited guests. Furthermore, his absence from the event video will let Ternus take the lead as Apple introduces its next generation of iPhones. The timing of the same is also noticeable because the launch is expected to include Apple's first foldable iPhone. As for Cook, he will now be serving as the chairman, and in his last CEO memo, Cook told the employees that he looked forward to seeing them at Apple campuses around the world, making clear that he would remain involved with the company rather than leave it completely. As for the Apple September launch event dubbed Surprise and Shine, we are most probably going to see three new phones, including iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max, and iPhone Ultra. Talking about the iPhone Ultra, rumours have it that the device will be making a debut in the Indian market at a price higher than Rs 2,00,000. Coming to the specs, the iPhone Ultra may ship with a dual rear camera setup consisting of a 48MP primary shooter and a 48MP ultra-wide-angle shooter. For selfies and video calls, the device will also get a 24MP front snapper as well. Apart from that, high chances are that the phone will be powered by an Apple A20 Pro chipset paired with 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage.
