Vivo is set to launch its new foldable smartphone - Vivo X Fold 6 -- in India on October 6, alongside V80 series. The upcoming foldable phone from the Chinese tech giant will be competing with Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra And Apple's first foldable - iPhone duo, which is set to go on sale in india later this month. Now, ahead Vivo V80 series launch event on Tuesday, a tipster Abhishek Yadav claims that the Vivo X Fold 6 price in India could be around Rs 2,19,999 (12GB RAM + 512GB storage variant). The Vivo X Fold 6 has already been launched in China, giving us a good idea of what to expect from the India model. Like other book-style foldable phones, the device is likely to offer a regular cover display on the outside and a larger screen that opens up like a tablet. The Chinese brand is also expected to put a strong focus on cameras and AI features with the X Fold 6. The foldable comes with an 8.02-inch AMOLED inner display and a 6.51-inch cover display, with both screens supporting a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the Vivo X Fold 6 is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 Super chipset. The phone also packs a large 7,000mAh battery with support for 80W wired charging and 40W wireless charging. For photography, the foldable gets a Zeiss-tuned triple rear camera setup led by a 200-megapixel primary sensor. It is also expected to offer a premium build with IP59 protection. At around Rs 2.19 lakh, the Vivo X Fold 6 will enter a segment where buyers already have some very premium options. Samsung's Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra and Google Pixel 11 Pro Fold expected to be one of its biggest rivals in the Android segement. The other major competition will come from Apple.
