UPSC CDS I Final Result 2026 Declared (Source: Canva) The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the final results for the Combined Defence Services (CDS) I examination. The result has been prepared based on the written test and the SSB interview. Candidates who appeared for both of these can check their qualifying status on the official website, upsc.gov.in. As many as 155 candidates have been shortlisted for the Indian Military Academy, 63 for the Naval Academy, and 25 for the Air Force Academy. The medical examination result has not been considered while preparing the final result. Candidates can follow the given instructions to download the result PDF: The candidature of qualified candidates is provisional, as the concerned authorities are still verifying candidates’ dates of birth and educational qualifications. Candidates’ marks will be available on the website after declaration of the final result of the Officers' Training Academy (OTA) course for Combined Defence Services Examination (I). The CDS I written examination was held on April 12, and the Commission declared 2601, 770 and 6,10 as qualified in the written test for admission to the Indian Military Academy, Indian Naval Academy and Air Force Academy, respectively. Qualified candidates then appeared for the SSB Interview conducted by the Services Selection Board of the Ministry of Defence. The final selection list was prepared on the basis of the written test and the SSB interview.
