The purported handset has reportedly appeared on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification website, pointing out that the smartphone maker might be planning an India launch. As of now, Vivo has not confirmed the official launch of this device but it could be seen on the company’s Philippines website. Several leaks have surfaced online suggesting the speculated specifications of this smartphone. As per the official Philippines listing, the Vivo V80FE may come with a 6.59-inch 1.5K AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. The display is likely to get up to 3,000 nits of peak brightness. Under the hood, the smartphone could be powered by a 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 7400-Turbo processor. It may get paired with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage. On the software front, the Vivo V80FE is anticipated to run OriginOS 7 based on Android 17. The handset could pack a 7,000mAh battery with support for 90W wired fast charging. Speaking of photography, the handset may arrive with a ZEISS-banded camera setup. The back camera could include a 50MP primary lens with optical image stabilisation (OIS) and a 50MP ultra-wide angle sensor. On the front, the handset may house a 50MP selfie camera. Other expected features could include WiFi 5, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC support and an infrared blaster. This smartphone is also likely to arrive with an in-display optical fingerprint sensor and an IP69 rating for water and dust resistance. Vivo has not revealed the expected price of the V80 FE in India.
