The Board of Secondary Education, Madhya Pradesh, has extended the last date for applications for the High School and Higher Secondary Second Chance Examinations. As per the revised schedule, candidates who are unsuccessful or wish to enhance their academic performance can submit their applications till April 26, 2026, via the MPOnline portal, i.e., mpbse.nic.in. Announcing the extension, MP Chief Minister wrote, “The state government is committed to the bright future of students and their easy access to every opportunity,” on his X (formerly Twitter) post. Students who appeared for the main board examinations but failed to clear one or two subjects are allowed to sit in the second board exams, which have been introduced in place of the supplementary exams. Besides them, students who managed to pass in all subjects but are dissatisfied with their scores can also apply for the MP Board second chance exams 2026 to improve their overall performance. According to the official calendar, MP Board Class 10 second chance exams will be held from May 7 to 19, 2026, while the MP Board Class 12 second chance examinations are scheduled from May 7 to 25, 2026. Notably, both papers will be held in the morning shift from 9 AM to 12 PM, at designated centres across the state. This year, the MP Board Class 10th and 12th results were declared on April 15. The pass percentage of class 10 was recorded at 73.42 per cent. In class 12, girls outperformed boys with a total pass percentage of 79.41 and a boys' percentage of 72.39.
