In what comes as a great news for travellers, international services will begin on July 15, 2026, at the Navi Mumbai International Airport. The airport started domestic operations in December 2025 is now all set to introduce international freighter services and scheduled international passenger flights. Air India Express and IndiGo are expected to begin international operations from the Navi Mumbai Airport soon. The move comes in a bid to strengthen the airport's position as a key aviation hub. Good news is also that there is movement on the passenger side, and hopefully, on July 15, international passenger flights will also start."
