The incident took place aboard a Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight travelling from London to Bangladesh, with footage of the confrontation now circulating on social media. The video shows two men arguing in the aircraft cabin before the dispute quickly escalates. The passengers can be seen throwing punches at each other as other travellers watch the altercation unfold. At one point, one of the men appears to have his T-shirt torn during the scuffle. The commotion reportedly alarmed passengers on board, including children and elderly travellers. Cabin crew members, assisted by fellow passengers, eventually intervened and separated the two men. The footage captures the disruption inside the cabin as passengers react to the unexpected fight. According to a report by Dhaka Tribune, the incident occurred while the aircraft was in flight. However, the reason behind the argument remains unclear. It is also not immediately known whether the two passengers were detained or faced any action following the incident. Biman Bangladesh Airlines General Manager (Public Relations) Mahbubuddin Ahmed shared with Dhaka Tribune that he was not aware of the incident when contacted. However, in a later update, Biman Bangladesh Airlines General Manager for Public Relations Mohiuddin Ahmed confirmed the incident to The Business Standard. He said the flight had departed from Sylhet for London in the morning when the two passengers got into a physical altercation during the journey. The cabin crew intervened and managed to bring the situation under control. The reason behind the confrontation remains unclear, as does whether any action was taken against the passengers.
