From a village in Kerala to one of fashion's most-watched runways, Ravleen Varghese has come a long way. The 25-year-old Indian model made her debut at the 2026 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show in Los Angeles on October 18, walking the runway twice and adding another big milestone to her growing international career. This year's show was special for more than one reason. It was only the third edition since the brand brought the show back after a six-year break, and the first time it moved to the West Coast after two years in New York. The event was streamed live on the brand's YouTube, Instagram and TikTok channels, and had an all-women line-up of performers, including Megan Thee Stallion, Tate McRae, Megan Moroney and global girl group KATSEYE. For her first appearance, Ravleen wore a lacy pink lingerie set, soft and romantic and very much in line with the brand’s signature style. She returned for a second walk in a beautiful black-and-white look, sharing the runway with models Luiza Perote and Malika El Maslouhi. Over the years, she has built a strong portfolio across fashion, beauty and editorial work. She has modelled for well-known international names such as Dior, Loewe, Pomellato, Benefit and Ounass, and has appeared on the covers of leading magazines. She has also walked at New York Fashion Week and modelled for Indian designer Sabyasachi. Fans took to social media to praise her looks, with many calling it a proud moment for Indian representation on a global stage. For Ravleen, the moment also says something about how fashion is changing. Instead of chasing quick fame, Ravleen has built her career one project at a time, moving between campaigns, editorials and runway shows. That slow and steady work is what has now brought her to one of the biggest stages in fashion. With her Victoria’s Secret debut, Ravleen joins a small group of Indian and Indian-origin models who have walked the brand’s famous runway. These include Ujjwala Raut, one of India’s first international supermodels, Bhumika Arora and British-Indian model Neelam Gill. For Ravleen, the Victoria’s Secret show is more than a personal win. It shows that a young woman from a small village in Kerala, who never planned to become a model, can now stand alongside some of the biggest names in fashion.
