Vaibhav Sooryavanshi looks set to play 3rd T20I. Photo: BCCI India and New Zealand will lock horns in the third T20I of the five-match series on Tuesday (October 26). The fixture will take place at the Hnry Stadium in Wellington. India hold a 2-0 lead and another win here will see them clinch the series with two games left. The Men in Blue have suffered a blow before the game as Ishan Kishan has been ruled out. The left-handed batter suffered an injury during the first game and he missed the second fixture. Kishan trained with the team on Monday (October 26), but won't play the third T20I. With Kishan absent, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi looks set to play his second game in NZ. Ahead of the third game, here's a look at India's likely playing XI for the fixture - Abhishek Sharma and Sanju Samson look set to continue as openers despite Vaibhav Sooryavanshi's presence. They have been performing well and there is no reason for India to change their opening combination. Sooryavanshi looks set to retain his spot in the playing XI but he might bat at number three in the game. He struggled in his comeback game and departed for 4 off eight balls. Shreyas Iyer will bat at four and will be followed by Tilak Varma. The India vice-captain delivered a Player of the Match performance in the second game. Nitish Kumar Reddy, Naman Dhir and Axar Patel will retain their spot. Reddy shone in the second game and remained unbeaten on 26 off just 13 balls as India chased down the target of 181 in the final over. Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Arshdeep Singh will continue to share the new ball. Prince Yadav bowled well after returning to the playing XI and only spent 30 runs in four overs. He looks set to play ahead of Mayank Yadav again.
