Smart Ring, Wristband And AI Health Agent: All About Alloop Trio Wearable (Image Credit: Alloop) A smart wearable has become the talk of the town because of its 3-in-1 abilities as it can act as a smart ring, a wristband and an AI agent. Developed by a startup called Alloop, Trio is a wearable health tracking system that allows users to switch between a smart ring and a wristband using the same sensor. This device is claimed to be ideal for people who want to monitor their health throughout the day and night without having to wear multiple trackers. The Trio combines health monitoring with an AI Health Agent that lets users record meals, physical activities, symptoms and other daily experiences through voice commands. According to Alloop, the system can connect this information with data collected by its sensors to offer a more complete picture of a user’s health. The company plans to launch a Kickstarter campaign on November 10, with a starting price of $299. Moreover, the first deliveries are planned for January 2027. Alloop has claimed that the device can offer up to seven days for the Cube on a single charge. Alloop Trio is a 3-in-1 wearable health tracking system built around a small, removable sensor called the Cube. Weighing 2.4 grams, the sensor can be placed inside a compatible smart ring or wristband, allowing users to change how they wear it according to their daily routine. The Trio system has three main components: the Cube sensor, the smart ring and wristband, and the Halo accessory. Each serves a different purpose. The Cube is the central component of the Trio system. It contains optical sensors to measure several health indicators, including heart rate, heart rate variability (HRV), blood oxygen levels, breathing rate and temperature. Since the sensor can be moved between the ring and wristband, users can choose the form that suits their activities. However, Alloop has not yet published detailed accuracy data for the Cube. It remains to be seen how consistently the sensor performs when used on the finger compared with the wrist. Unlike conventional wearables that use separate hardware for different form factors, Trio allows users to move one sensor between two accessories. The smart ring is intended for situations such as overnight health monitoring, while the screen-free wristband offers another way to wear the sensor during the day. Halo is an optional module to work with the wristband. It extends battery life and adds features such as vibration alerts and light signals. It also allows users to interact with Alloop's AI Health Agent through voice commands without opening the smartphone app or taking out their phone. Users can speak to the device to record information about meals, symptoms, workouts and other daily experiences. This information can then be linked with the physiological measurements collected by the Cube.
