CBSE board exam datesheet released; exams beginning in February 2027 The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the board exam datesheets for class 10 and class 12 students. The datesheet released today is for the board exams that are scheduled in 2027. The detailed datesheet for class 10 and class 12 students are listed below in the article. As per the schedule released by CBSE, board exams 2027 will begin on February 17, 2027. All exams will commence at 10:30 am. This time, a total of over 19.8 lakh students in Class 12 and over 26.5 lakh students in Class 10 have registered for the 2027 Board Examinations. "Date sheets are prepared based on the data submitted in the List of Candidates (LOC) by the schools. As the LOC submission process has been completed and the Board now possesses the final data regarding subject combinations opted by students, CBSE has finalized the Date Sheets for the Board Examinations scheduled to commence from 16 February 2027 (Tuesday)," CBSE stated in an official notice. This time, in Class 10, students will appear in 83 subjects and in Class 12, students will appear in 121 subjects. The Date Sheets are being released 101 days in advance of the commencement of examinations. CBSE claims that "adequate gaps have been provided between examinations of subjects commonly offered together by students" in both class 10 and class 12. "Every effort has been made to complete the Board Examinations well before the commencement of such entrance examinations, enabling students to manage their preparation effectively," CBSE stated. The national education board also stated that the number of candidates appearing on a particular day at each examination centre has been considered to facilitate smooth conduct of examinations. "The examination schedule has been designed to minimize the prolonged absence of teachers from their schools during the evaluation process," CBSE stated. It has also been claimed that more than 40,000 subject combinations have been factored in while preparing the board exam datesheet to ensure that examinations of any two subjects opted by a student do not coincide on the same date.
