The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) is expected to announce the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2026 provisional answer key today, on its website at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in. This will be made available for the candidates who took the exam at various centres across Karnataka. The KCET 2026 was conducted between April 22 and 24, 2026. Approximately 3.3 lakh candidates appeared for the exam, as this is considered to be a crucial entrance examination for engineering and professional courses. There were no major issues reported from the centres during the conduct of the examination. While KEA has yet to announce the official schedule, the provisional answer key is likely to be available 24 hours after the exam based on the previous years' trend. Likewise, in 2015, too, the answer key was released soon after the exam was conducted, and it is expected to be the case this year as well. Once this is released, students will be able to check the provisional answer key and match their answers. This will allow them to estimate their scores even before the final results are released. Once the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) announces the KCET 2026 provisional answer key, candidates can download it online by following the steps given below: If there are any mistakes in this answer key, students will have a few days to raise objections. KEA will again re-evaluate the objections and then release the final answer key. The final answer key will be published in May 2026, and then the KCET 2026 results will be declared. The final answer key will be used for calculating the marks and ranks. Students should keep visiting the official website for updated information on answer keys, objections, and result declaration.
