Amazon Prime Video has kicked off its brand new reality show, Alliance, and it is already making waves. Hosted by Kunal Kemmu, the show launched on June 26 and features 16 celebrities competing as pairs. The twist? Contestants enter thinking alliances will help them win, but the show is actually designed to break those very alliances apart. Now, a fresh report suggests that Sohail Khan could be among the first wildcards to shake things up inside. According to an India Today report, Sohail Khan is likely to enter Alliance as a wildcard contestant very soon. This will be a first for the actor, who has previously appeared on television as a judge on reality shows but has never participated in one himself. The report added that Sohail had his share of doubts before agreeing to join. However, his was also excited about stepping into unfamiliar territory. He is expected to enter the house either today or tomorrow and will be seen on screen sometime next week. Interestingly, it is also rumoured that Sohail's former wife, Seema Sajdeh, may also join the show as a contestant. If that happens, watching the two former partners navigate the game together, with cameras everywhere, will certainly be unmissable television. While Sohail is no stranger to television, he has always been on the other side of the camera. He has always been a judge, never a contestant. He made his small-screen debut as a co-judge on the comedy reality show Comedy Circus: Comedy Ka Naya Daur, alongside Archana Puran Singh. He went on to appear as a judge on multiple seasons of Comedy Circus. Alliance will be the first time Sohail steps into the contestant's shoes. Alliance is streaming on Amazon Prime Video, with new episodes dropping daily at 12 noon. The season runs across six weeks and a total of 42 episodes.
