Sidharth Malhotra To Launch Production House For Career Advancement, Kiara Advani Is Creative Force: ReportAug 19, 2026, 23:08 IST
According to Filmfare’s report, a source close to the development said, “Sid has established himself as a bankable performer with films like Shershaah and Mission Majnu. Both he and Kiara feel the filmmakers aren't really coming up with the kind of projects that will take Sid's career to the next step. So, they've decided to create those opportunities themselves.” While Sidharth is expected to lead the films churned out by the production house, Kiara might be in charge of taking creative decisions and exercising production control to make sure that the stories told are tailored to their passions and interests. The source further shared that the couple has planned to launch the production house as a boutique filmmaking setup. With this, they will focus on big stories told in a controlled manner. The first few projects will be mounted on smaller budgets. The report added that Sidharth and Kiara are opting for a slow and steady approach, ensuring his strengths as an actor are optimised to connect to the right audience. Kiara is currently promoting Toxic: A Fairytale For Grown-Ups with Yash, Nayanthara, Rukmini Vasanth, Huma Qureshi and Tara Sutaria. The Geetu Mohandas film releases on August 26 in Kannada, English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam. Kiara plays the role of Nadia. Toxic is produced by KVN Productions and Yash’s Monster Mind Creations. Sidharth returns to theatres after Param Sundari in 2025 with The Vvaan. Co-starring Tamannaah Bhatia, Sunil Grover, Maniesh Paul, Shweta Tiwari and Anup Soni, the movie is directed by Arunabh Kumar and Deepak Kumar Mishra. It was supposed to release on August 28, but the makers averted a clash with Toxic by postponing it to September 25. The Vvaan is backed by Ekta Kapoor and TVF.
