Samsung Galaxy S25 Price Hike: Top Variant Now Costs Rs 1,04,999 In India Samsung India has announced a price hike on its popular Samsung Galaxy S25 5G. Out of three variants of this flagship device, two of them will now come with increased prices. After the changes, the 12GB RAM + 256 GB variant will be priced Rs 4,000 more than the offer price. While the top-end variant has received a significant price hike of Rs 12,000. Notably, the base variant of the Samsung Galaxy S25 continues to be offered at the original launch price of Rs 74,999. According to the Samsung India website, the Samsung Galaxy S25 5G (12GB + 256GB) will now cost Rs 84,999 instead of its original price of Rs 80,999. Whereas the top-end variant with 12GB RAM and 512GB of storage will be priced at Rs 1,04,999. This variant has received a Rs 12,000 price increase compared to its original launch price of Rs 92,999. The Samsung Galaxy S25 5G is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, based on 3nm tech. This smartphone features a 6.2-inch AMOLED display with adaptive refresh rate of 120Hz and runs on Samsung’s One UI 7. Notably, the tech firm has not revealed the reasons for increasing the prices of its smartphone. According to a Reuters report, the South Korean tech giant has increased prices for some of its contact chipmaking services by up to 15 per cent as demands for the AI chipsets continues to grow outpacing the supply. The report also notes that the demand of chipsets has been specifically high in China but the company is not able to fulfill its orders as it has to serve US customers and needs to reserve part of its capacity to support its own chip production.
