Ishwar Thakur's health deteriorates amid kidney ailment Television actor Ishwar Thakur, who played the role of Hawaldar Golu in F.I.R from 2013 to 2015, has been admitted to a hospital in Thane, Maharashtra, due to a kidney ailment. His family has made an urgent appeal for crowdfunding to ensure he gets timely treatment. Ishwar is under medical attention in the ICU. On Instagram Stories, his sister Jayshree Thakur mentioned the ailments that he has been diagnosed with and also shared that the family has exhausted savings in previous hospital admissions. In the statement, Jayshree mentioned that Ishwar has a severe infection in his kidney. Since he is a diabetic, a wound in the leg caused the infection to spread rapidly throughout the body. She also revealed that the family has exhausted its savings in buying necessary medicines and paying hospital bills. Jayshree sought financial help from his well-wishers. She revealed that the comedian had to be rushed to the hospital when his condition deteriorated a couple of days back. “He's been unresponsive ever since. We have spent whatever we had on his care, but now we aren't being able to do more. Hence we need help,” she said. Thakur also shared that the initial wound caused fatty liver, and he had overcome that. However, ‘health issues cropped up again’. She said, “The makers of his shows FIR and Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hain! helped us as much as they could. His co-stars too stepped in. Kavita Kaushik ji also put out an appeal for help, and it's because of all this that we could afford the treatment until now.” Jayshree told India Today that besides having diabetes and kidney-related issues, his liver is also no longer functioning properly. To afford his treatment, they had to sell their house. “My husband and I have been taking care of Ishwar, but now we have reached a stage where we simply do not know what to do next. I feel completely helpless,” she told the portal. Ishwar did not get married. He is 54 years old. He has his mother and sister by his side.
