Ayushmann Khurrana and Sara Ali Khan are back after Pati Patni Aur Woh Do! The actors will next be seen in the upcoming comedy Udta Teer. "Deshbhakti toh yaad hai... par desh nahi," reads the tagline of the film, which promises a blend of unlimited chaos, confusion and action. Directed by Akash A Kaushik, it aims to deliver a mix of action, humour and entertainment. Ahead of its release, the makers have unveiled the trailer and it's too good to miss! The trailer of Ayushmann Khurrana and Sara Ali Khan's Udta Teer is out now! Details of the comedy were being kept under wraps so far, with the makers only sharing a poster featuring Ayushmann. Recently, a behind-the-scenes video was also shared by the team. Now, fans finally have a glimpse of what's in store for them. Sharing it, the makers wrote, "Presenting tod-fod comedy...like never before! Get in, because this mission is a rollercoaster ride." The Udta Teer trailer sets up a bizarre yet entertaining action-comedy premise, with Ayushmann Khurrana playing Bilal, a Pakistani spy who loses his memory after an explosion and begins believing he is an Indian counter-terrorism officer. The trailer leans heavily into the identity-swap humour, showing Bilal embracing an exaggerated patriotic persona while his Pakistani handlers struggle to understand what happened to their ace operative. Sara Ali Khan joins him as a fellow CTS operative, while the narrative mixes thriller elements with broad comedy, fourth-wall-breaking gags and political satire. From explosions and train fights to temple visits and Bilal's sudden hatred for Pakistan, the trailer promises a deliberately chaotic blend of action and humour. Sachin-Jigar's energetic music further complements the glossy visuals, making Udta Teer look like a high-concept satire that doesn't take its action premise too seriously. Udta Teer also features Rahul Bose, Supriya Pilgaonkar, Brijendra Kala, Ram Kapoor, Suhail Nayyar and Gulshan Grover in key roles. The film will also be the final screen appearance of late actor Mukul Dev, who passed away in May last year. The film marks Ayushmann Khurrana and Sara Ali Khan's second collaboration after Pati Patni Aur Woh Do, which also starred Rakul Preet Singh and Wamiqa Gabbi. Meanwhile, writer Akash A Kaushik is making his directorial debut with the comedy. Udta Teer was originally slated for a September 11 theatrical release but was pushed to October 9. It is releasing in theatres a week after Ajay Devgn's much-awaited Drishyam 3, which is scheduled to hit cinemas on October 2.
