ICAI Announces CA Foundation, Intermediate January 2027 Exam Dates The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has announced the examination schedule for the January 2027 session of the CA Foundation and Intermediate courses. The exams will be conducted at designated centres, subject to a sufficient number of candidates opting to appear from each centre. According to the schedule, the CA Foundation January 2027 examinations will be held on January 3, 5, 7 and 9, 2027. The CA Intermediate examinations will be conducted in two groups from January 2 to January 12, 2027. For CA Intermediate, Group I papers will be held on January 2, 4 and 6, while Group II examinations are scheduled for January 8, 10 and 12, 2027. All CA Intermediate papers will be conducted from 2 PM to 5 PM, with each examination lasting three hours. The schedule covers all six papers across the two groups. The CA Foundation examination will be conducted over four days. Papers 1 and 2 will be held from 2 PM to 5 PM, while Papers 3 and 4 will be conducted from 2 PM to 4 PM. ICAI has specified that Foundation Papers 1 and 2 will have a duration of three hours, while Papers 3 and 4 will have a duration of two hours. For Foundation Papers 3 and 4, candidates will not receive advance reading time. For the other Foundation papers and the Intermediate papers, candidates will get 15 minutes of advance reading time from 1:45 PM to 2 PM. The institute has also clarified that there will be no change in the examination schedule if an exam day is declared a public holiday by the Central Government, a State Government or local bodies.
