Talking to Zoom, Taran Adarsh said, “Drishyam: The Conclusion is going to take a fantastic start at the box office and the biggest stats of this year. It is releasing on Gandhi Jayanti, a big national holiday. I am sure it would do Rs 50 crore plus net box office collection in India.” While Taran predicts a Rs 50 crore opening, Girish Johar believes ‘anything above Rs 35 crore is outstanding’. He added, “October 2 is a big holiday. It should open to Rs 35 crore plus collection. If the film is really good, the audience will love it. The collection can go higher also and God forbid, if the film doesn’t live up to the expectations, it can come down too.” He also noted that the film has been receiving a positive response from the overseas market. “It is one of the biggest releases for Ajay Devgn. There are more than 1300 screens in over 60 countries. Overseas markets are also quite strong,” he shared. When asked if the Gandhi Jayanti holiday would benefit Drishyam 3, Adarsh shared, “The holiday leaves a major impact, and when it is a film like Drishyam 3, it is going to do really well. Its previous parts, particularly Drishyam 2 was a record smasher.” Girish opined, “It is going to benefit from the long weekend. The buzz is outstanding, and the trailer has received a remarkable response. It is a successful franchise and everyone is glued in also. Expectations are high, and it is not a run-of-the-mill commercial entertainer.
