Netflix releases final blooper reel for Stranger Things Day Netflix and Stranger Things have continued the tradition on November 6 for Stranger Things Day. In the show, it is the date when Will Byers, played by Noah Schnapp, is taken from his home into the Upside Down on November 6, 1983. Since the release of the show on July 15, 2016, Netflix has always released something new on November 6, and this year it is no different. The streaming service has unveiled its final blooper reel from the final season, showing how the cast and crew came together to film Season 5. The team of Stranger Things spent nearly a year in Atlanta, Georgia, filming the final season of the Netflix series. On social media, Netflix announced, "ROLL THE ST5 BLOOPER REEL #StrangerThingsDay." Fans have had to wait a long time to see the bloopers. Season 5 Vol 1 was released on November 26, 2025, and the reel shows the ensemble cast members being silly and letting loose while they film an all-out battle to save the town of Hawkins, Indiana, from Vecna (Jamie Campbell Bower) and the Upside Down. The reel opens with Millie Bobby Brown's Eleven trying to find the whereabouts of the missing Holly Wheeler (Nell Fisher) and breaking into laughter when she was accidentally splashed on by a crew member. Other stars who mess up their lines include Finn Wolfhard as Mike Wheeler, Schnapp as Will Byers, Gaten Matarazzo as Dustin Henderson, Caleb McLaughlin as Lucas Sinclair, and Sadie Sink as Max Mayfield. Supporting cast members Joe Keery as Steve Harrington, Natalia Dyer as Nancy Wheeler, Charlie Heaton as Jonathan Byers, Maya Hawke as Robin Buckley, Winona Ryder as Joyce Byers, and Bower as the big villain Vecna, aka Henry Creel. The final scene in the reel includes Keery, Matarazzo and Heaton; Matarazzo jokes, "Guys, I think we bodied that." Created by Matt and Ross Duffer, Stranger Things became one of Netflix's biggest shows after its premiere in July 2016.
