However, the board decided to reschedule the teacher’s eligibility test due to unknown reasons. As per the official schedule, the exam will be held in two shifts: morning and evening. The morning shift will run from 10 am to 12:30 pm, while the afternoon shift will take place from 3 pm to 5:30 pm. Check out the updated schedule for HTET 2026 below. According to BSEH, HTET 2026 will be held in offline mode using OMR sheets. It will comprise multiple-choice questions, testing candidates on subjects like child development and pedagogy, languages, quantitative aptitude, reasoning ability, and subject-specific topics depending on the level applied for. Notably, HTET admit cards 2026 will not be sent by post. Once released, candidates will have to download their hall tickets from the official websites by entering their login credentials. In case of a discrepancy, they can contact the concerned authorities for rectification. HTET is held annually to test candidates’ eligibility for teaching positions (PRT, TGT, and PGT) in government schools across Haryana, ensuring they meet national standards set by the RTE Act and NCTE.
