Reacting to AB De Villiers' remarks, former India fast bowler Dodda Ganesh took a cheeky dig at the South Africa veteran. “Pass on the weed, brother,” Ganesh wrote. De Villiers surely didn't have numbers to back his claim, but he might have made the judgement based on the impact both players had on the game. Tendulkar undoubtedly was the face of Indian cricket, and still is one of the most decorated Indian cricketers, but Kohli made a big impact on Test cricket and revived the format, especially when it was facing strong resistance from the growing popularity of T20 cricket.
