The video is now going viral on social media, and netizens can’t stop reacting to it. Nayanthara’s upcoming film, Mookuthi Amman 2, has been directed by Sundar C. It is a spiritual sequel to the 2020 film, which had Nayanthara playing dual roles. She plays the role of a police officer and reprises her role as a goddess in Mookuthi Amman. Regina Cassandra is also the female lead of the film. If reports are to be believed, Mookuthi Amman 2 has been made on a budget of Rs 100 crore. The film also features Duniya Vijay as an antagonist, Urvashi, Yogi Babu, Myna Nandini, Abhinaya, Garuda Raam, Shruthy S, Singapuli Annavi and others in pivotal roles. Nayanthara was last seen in Yash’s Toxic: A Fairytale Foir Grown-Ups. The pan-India project was released in August 2026 and emerged as the box office disaster. Directed by Geetu Mohandas, Toxic also features Kiara Advani, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria and Tara Sutaria in pivotal roles. On the professional front, Nayanthara will also feature in upcoming films like Dear Students, Rakkayie, Mannangatti Since 1960 and SVC63 opposite Salman Khan.
